Our nurse led helpline for employees has been running for a number of years with a focus on supporting those with all sorts of health questions and needs. Obviously, the advent of COVID19 has seen a huge increase in the use of the service by employees from a growing number of employers. Interestingly, the questions posed of our nurses have been about more than just COVID19, as the chart below shows.
As the Nation begins to emerge from this crisis, we expect the diversity of enquires to broaden still further. Questions will revolve around the easing of lockdown, how those with loved ones who need to continue to isolate will cope and how those who have been furloughed and or working from home will cope, psychologically, with a return to work? And, of course, the fear of a resurgence of the virus?
